We at the Franklin Square Water District continue to take pride in providing high quality water and responsive customer service at the lowest possible rate. The District has contained costs over the years and has not had a rate increase in 2 years. Unfortunately, rising energy costs, new treatment facilities, and the cost of day to day operations have made it necessary for us to increase the current water rates as follows:
Minimum from twenty-four dollars ($24.00) to twenty-six dollars ($26.00) per quarter for the first 9,000 gallons.
Additional usage above the minimum from two dollars and forty cents ($2.40) to two dollars and sixty cents ($2.60) for each additional 1,000 gallons per quarter.
These increases will become effective as of January 1, 2020 and will be reflected in the April 2020 billing cycle. We will continue to work hard in order to provide quality service for all of or customers.
